EL HOSTAL

Santa Marta es una Ciudad super turística, tiene diversos lugares de hospedaje. Cuando busqué el lugar perfecto para quedarme, mis prioridades eran; personalidad, piscina, cerca de la playa y la vida nocturna. Pues encontré el lugar perfecto El Hostal de Jackie queda a dos cuadras de la playa, no es la mejor del mundo pero me encanto la atmósfera y la vista, además cuando se trata de playa, si se me ven los pies en el agua todo esta bien.

En el hostal la atención es muy buena y las historias de los viajaron son aun mejor, conocer gente diferente y conversar de sus aventuras me parece una buena manera de que el tiempo vuele. Además de estar cerca de la playa, también tienes a pocas cuadras supermercados, plazas y barcitos con bastante personalidad. Te recomiendo vayas al parque Los Novios, a una cuadra del hostal donde nos quedamos, es un lugar romántico, con diversos restaurantes pintorescos y divertidos que lo rodean,  donde puedes sentarte y disfrutar de una buena conversación y ver a los demás turistas y lugareños pasar.

Santa Marta is a super tourist city, has several places to stay. When I looked for the perfect place to stay, my priorities were; personality, pool, near the beach and nightlife. Well I found the perfect place Hostal Jackie is two blocks from the beach, is not the best in the world but I loved the atmosphere and the view, also when it comes to beach if i can see my feet in the water everything is fine.

The hostel has the best attention and the travelers stories are even better, metting different people and chat about there adventures i think its a good way to spend my time. The hostel besides been near the beach it has supermarkets, parks and bars close to it. I recommend you to go to Parque los Novios, its one block away from the hostel, and it has beautiful restaurant so round it, where you can sit and enjoy of a fun conversation while you see other tourist go by.

Un look fresco pero con carácter. Este vestido 11:11 tiene una forma básica, lo que lo hace mágico es el estampado. Lo use para una salida nocturna en Santa Marta y es que cuando viajas entre menos lleves mejor y este vestidito no ocupa nada de espacio así que lo hace perfecto para la situación. Lo complemente con el collar básico de 11:11 hecho por nuestra hermosa diseñadora y adorada madre Ceci y por supuesto un mix de anillos no puede faltar, trata de combinar anillos pequeños con uno grande que destaque. El maquillaje realmente le da carácter al look, quizá es un poco fuerte para un look playero, pero el ahumado es lo que me sale mas rápido. A fresh look with character. This 11:11 dress has a basic figure, what make's it magical is the print. I wore it out on a date in Santa Marta, because I think when you travel the less you carry on the better and this dress can fit every where. I accessorized it with the basic 11:11 necklace by my beautiful mom and designer of the accessory line Ceci. I add it a mix of rings, try to combine small ring with one that stand out. The makeup actually gives the look grate caracter, maybe its a litle strong for a summer look but smoky eye its what i can do fastest. I hope you like this look.! leave me your comments. Kisses. 

SANTA MARTA

En mi segundo dia en esta hermosa ciudad playera en las costas de Colombia, opte por un look ligero y llamativo. Cuando estoy de viaje me encanta estar siempre linda y arreglada. Utilice esta combinación de crop top liso neon con un short de talle alto en un estampado floral que me encanta. No es la primera ves que uso este outfit, la verdad es que siempre me siento cómoda y ligera cuando lo llevo puesto, ademas el contraste y el estampado floral me hacen sentir alegre, así como la atmósfera playera de Santa Marta donde tomamos las fotos justo en la calle de enfrente al hostal donde nos hospedamos. Las calles son parecidas a las del centro de Maracaibo, lo que me hacia sentir en casa. Ademas la gente del hostal y los diferentes viajeros que conocí tenían una vibra increíble, luego les contare un poco mas de ellos. 

El viaje de trabajo 

Salimos bien temprano en la mañana al terminal de pasajeros de Santa Marta para tomar una buseta con destino a Barranquilla, el viaje nos tomo dos horas y media, por un costo aproximado de 300 bolívares lo que para nosotros seria algo costoso, pero valió la pena. Una vez allí recorrimos la ciudad caminando, en ese momento supe que optar por mis zapatos de goma era la mejor opción. Recorrimos las calles en búsqueda de almacenes de telas, entraba y salía de las tiendas impresionada, era como ver las tiendas en Maracaibo hace un año atrás donde había de todo, me sentía en el paraíso, encontré gran variedad de estampados y colores hermosos, que llevo conmigo para crear nuevas piezas.

11:11 la hora de los deseos

On my second day in this beautiful city in the coast of Colombia, i chose a light and eye-catching look. When I travel I love to be always nice and pretty. I use a neon croptop with high-waisted shorts in a floral print that I love. Its not the first time i use this outfit, the truth is that I always feel comfortable and light when I wear it, plus the contrast and floral print make me feel happy, and the  atmosphere of Santa Marta where we took the photos right on the street in front of the hostel where we stayed. The streets are similar to those of the center of Maracaibo, which made me feel at home. Also people from the hostel and different travelers I met had an incredible vibe, I will tell you more about them later on.

The work trip

We left early in the morning to the terminal of Santa Marta to take a bus to Barranquilla, the journey took us two and a half hours, at an approximate cost of 300 bolivars, a little expensive for us, but it worth it. We travel the city by foot, at that moment I knew that choosing my sneakers was the best option. We walked the streets in search of a fabric store, in and out of the impressive shops, it was like seeing the shops in Maracaibo a year ago when i could find everything, I was in heaven, I found a variety of patterns and beautiful colors, carry with me to create new pieces.

COLOMBIA / ROAD TRIP

En búsqueda de nuevas oportunidades, termine en Santa Marta, Colombia. Las chicas que me han visitado en el taller saben lo mucho que lucho por conseguir materiales y telas para trabajar, por esto decidí planear este viaje a Colombia, para buscar materia prima con la que pueda crear y diseñar. Te invito a que hagas este viaje conmigo. (este viaje lo hice algunas semanas atrás, pero no quiero dejar de contarte todo sobre el).

In the search for new opportunities I ended up in Santa Marta, Colombia. The girls that visited me in the work shop know the struggle I've been through to find materials and fabric to work with, because of that I planned this road trip to Colombia to find some good things to create and design. I invite you to take this trip with me. (this trip was a few weeks ago, but I don't want you to miss a thing, so im going to tell you every thing about it). 

COLORES DE VERANO

Las chicas de Tu Estilo de Vida TV nos invitaron a una entrevista en su programa hace unas semanitas atrás, para la cual mi Mama y yo usamos un full look 11:11 mas carteras de Liliana Sanint. Optamos por usar prendas frescas y que combinaran entre si. Como nos encanta el contraste nos fuimos a los opuestos para que cada look sobresaliera a su manera. En este caso yo utilice la braga multifuncional y mi mama de igual manera uso la braga puesta de pantalón con un crop top ancho para darle frescura. La entrevista estuco buenísima. Espero les guste.
